Giants snap skid

Coors Field is a tough place to pitch but Kyle Harrison made it look easy. He mowed down the Rockies over seven scoreless frames. It took him 86 pitches to get the 21 outs, giving up only four hits and two walks. He whiffed just two but eleven ground outs made up the difference. All the hits were singles. That's three nice starts in a row from Harrison: 18 IP, 12 H, 1 R, 7 W, 16 K. That was his fifteenth career start and he turns 23 in August. I think he's coming along just fine.

Ryan Walker struck out all three of the batters he faced in the 8th.
