The San Francisco Giants haven’t won a series in the state of Florida since 2016. Sure, they haven’t played the Rays in Florida since 2016, but tonight’s 3-game set at Tropicana Field kicks off a 6-game swing through the Sunshine State. The Rays are 598-447 in the 7+ years since the Giants last played them on their home turf, so this is a clear mismatch, right?
It’s always nice to write these previews quickly. The Rays are better and so they win will win the series.
