Giants prospect Ty Blach named to 2016 All-PCL team

Sacramento River Cats' lefty Ty Blach was named to the 2016 All-PCL team Monday for his record-breaking season. The team consists of 12 players from the Pacific Coast League and is voted on by the league's managers and media representatives.

Blach, 25, is the only member of the River Cats to make the team.

Drafted in the fifth round of the 2012 MLB Draft out of Creighton, Blach's numbers certainly warrant the honor. He has gone 14-7 with a 3.43 ERA in 26 starts this season. Blach's win total not only leads the PCL, but it also matches Sacramento's franchise record for a single season.
