Being a professional athlete isn't all glamour and fame. Sometimes, you're stuck on the tarmac with the rest of us plebes.
Unfortunately for Giants pitcher Cory Gearrin, a Tuesday night flight from Phoenix to Atlanta turned into a social experiment as the full plane was subjected to delay after delay.
"Still on the ground," Gearrin tweeted at 7:30 p.m. "Woman sitting behind us, 'I feel bad being on here this long with all these people since I have the flu!' Passengers starting to turn on one another with no food in sight and we're past the 3 hour mark, hour 4 here we come.
