NEW YORK - The Giants' second half is turning into a carnival of horror, and if you want to deny that, consider that they lost their sixth in a row Friday night in part because of Brandon Crawford's defense, while Buster Posey had to visit the X-ray room.
The Giants continued their slide with a 3-2 loss. The Yankees scored the winning run on Crawford's career-high third error. All were on throws.
They now own their longest losing streak of the year.
As if this 0-6 trip were not brutal enough for the Giants, Posey left the fourth inning with an apparent right foot injury.
