Cameron Maybin, one of the first new pieces added by new Giants GM Farhan Zaidi, was arrested early Friday morning in Scottsdale, Arizona, for driving under the influence.
The arrest was first reported by ABC15.
“We are aware of the situation and are monitoring. We have no further comment at this time,” the team said in a statement.
Maybin was pulled over for speeding and being unable to maintain his lane, according to ABC15’s viewing of the police report — which also said Maybin told officers he had been at the Oceans 44 where he consumed five glasses of wine.
