DENVER — The Giants have likely never been so happy to leave Coors Field, and not just because rain turned this into the longest three-day series in years.
Tim Hudson was shelled and the lineup was stymied by Chad Bettis on Sunday as the Giants fell 11-2 in the final game of a four-game series. They won the first two games here, extending their winning streak to eight games, but the final two games of a series delayed over seven hours by rain went down as losses.
Hudson came in with an 0-2 record and 6.80 ERA in nine career outings at Coors Field and the Rockies got ahead with a second-inning run.
