SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. -- The University of San Francisco women's basketball program and head coach Molly Goodenbour officially announced the commitment of 6'1" forward Edessa Noyan of Sodertalje, Sweden on Wednesday morning.
"Edessa is going to strengthen our forward position," Goodenbour said. "Physically she is strong and tough and plays aggressively and instinctively around the basket. We love her style of play and her competitiveness and we know she will be someone who will transition well to NCAA basketball. She competes with her club Sodertalje against top level players in Sweden and we are excited for her to get to USF to play for us.
