SAN DIEGO, Calif. – Wrapping up their weekend in Southern California, the USF Dons baseball team (14-21, 5-13) put together a spirit comeback before ultimately coming up short against the San Diego Toreros (18-19-1, 11-7) by a 9-7 final score on Sunday afternoon.

- Following a scoreless first inning for both sides, the Dons were able to score a pair of runs in the top of the second as Patrick Keighran worked a one out walk and then came around to score on Mattie Thomas' two-run home run that gave USF the 2-0 lead early.
