SAN BRUNO, Calif. – The USF women's basketball team was well represented on the annual West Coast Conference All-Academic team, which was released on Tuesday. Senior Rachel Howard and redshirt junior Kalyn Simon took home first team honors, while juniors Michaela Rakova and Anna Seilund earned honorable mention recognition.
This is Howard's third time on the all-academic team after earning first team honors last year and honorable mention recognition as a sophomore. The reigning WCC Player of the Week is carrying a 3.43 GPA as a first-year graduate student in USF's sports management program.
