MORAGA, Calif. – The San Francisco beach volleyball team traveled across the Bay Bridge to take on the Saint Mary's Gaels, falling 5-0 on a sunny Thursday afternoon at Moraga Commons Park.
USF's duo of and proved to have the tightest match of the day, taking on Mary Hernandez and Alexis Salmons at No. 3 in the lineup. The Gaels' tandem took the first set 21-16, and narrowly edged out Miller and Lowry 22-20 in the second.
Also seeing competitive results at No. 4, and teamed up to take on Lindsey Calvin and Alexsa Parker before eventually falling 21-14, 21-18.
