PALO ALTO, Calif. -- Despite wet, rainy conditions throughout Northern California, the USF Dons' women's tennis program exceled as a team weekend at the 2021 ITA Northwest Regionals hosted by Stanford University. Simran Chhabra and Maria Martinez Vaquero put together strong individual performances over the weekend winning multiple rounds and advancing within the bracket.
Martinez Vaquero and Rita Colyer performed very well as a doubles pairing reaching the quarterfinals after beating opponents from Pacific and Oregon. Caragh Courtney put together a pair of victories during bracket play as the whole squad built momentum ahead of the Jack Kramer Invitational this weekend in Los Angeles.
