Dwelley time is officially over. Former San Francisco 49ers tight end Ross Dwelley’s six-year tenure comes to an end as he joins Charlie Woerner in Atlanta.
So, as the Falcons go through a coaching change and bring in an offensive mind to run a scheme that’s similar to Kyle Shanahan’s, they go to the direct source.
Dwelley has made his hay on special teams in recent years. Of the 282 snaps Dwelley played in 2023, 206 of those came on special teams. The Falcons are getting a player that seemingly everybody in the 49ers facility loved.
