SANTA CLARA -– The 49ers did not stand idle at offensive tackle, following up the selection of Georgia’s John Theus with another offensive tackle from the SEC.
The 49ers took advantage of just about opportunity to get to know Mississippi tackle Fahn Cooper throughout the draft process. And it all concluded with a nice birthday present.
“I feel like they had a lot of interest,” said Cooper, who turned 23 on Saturday.
