Hall of Fame quarterback Steve Young believes the San Francisco 49ers should already act as though the NFC is theirs.
The former Niners quarterback previewed Saturday’s playoff game against the Packers — along with ostensibly the rest of the postseason — on his weekly appearance on KNBR’s “Tolbert and Copes” show on Wednesday. The word of the day was “buzzsaw” as Young brought it up multiple times to describe the team on and off the field. The Packers, for instance, might be riding high after their upset win against the Cowboys on Sunday, but Young expects them to receive a “buzzsaw feeling” against the Niners, which team Young describes as a “buzzsaw of emotion that’s been pent up for two weeks.
