Now, after their 24-17 setback to the Cowboys at Levi’s Stadium, it’s fair to wonder just how many losses will pile up this season if their star-starved roster is without its best player.
Bowman grabbed at his left foot after he fell to the turf without being contacted midway through the third quarter. He walked slowly to the sideline with assistance from trainers and was later carted away with what the team termed a “lower-leg injury.
