The San Francisco 49ers announced the signing of pass rusher Elvis Dumervil ten days ago, and we have some contract details, courtesy of Over The Cap.
Dumervil signed a two-year deal, worth $8 million. He received a $1 million signing bonus, and $500,000 of his 2017 salary is fully guaranteed. He is due to earn a $2.25 million base salary in 2017, and $2.75 million in 2018. In both seasons, he has $750,000 in roster bonuses, paid out at $46,875 per game. The second year of his deal is an option. If the 49ers decide to exercise the option, they will pay him $500,000 on top of his base salary and roster bonus.
