Former San Francisco 49ers offensive tackle Anthony Davis tweeted out a note of thanks to the 49ers Saturday morning. He thanked them for letting him live out one of his dreams, and helping him get ready for life. He also specifically thanked Jed York.

It has been a wild 16 months for Davis. He retired a year ago June due to health issues, and retired once again this past week after suffering a practice concussion.
