Two 49ers running backs apparently paid the price Sunday night for being rookies.
Mike Davis, a fourth-round draft pick from South Carolina, posted a photo of his receipt from dinner at Michael Mina in San Francisco. The total, including tax and the San Francisco health tax, was $1,878.59.
Davis wrote on Instagram, “Welcome to the NFL rookie.” It’s believed Davis and Jarryd Hayne picked up the tab.

At least one member of the team’s running back group showed his appreciation. Second-year running back Carlos Hyde, gave a Twitter “shout-out” to Davis and Hayne for dinner.
