The San Francisco 49ers have re-signed DL Chris Jones to a one-year contract, according to his agent.

Jones, 26, is a former sixth-round pick of the Texans back in 2013. He lasted just a few months in Houston before he was waived and later claimed off of waivers by the Patriots.
New England cut Jones loose in the days leading up to last year’s NFL draft and he was once again claimed off of waivers, this time by the Dolphins.
