A few weeks ago, I came across a new commercial featuring Russell Wilson that happened to also include the San Francisco 49ers. The commercial was for Wilson’s new Nike cleats, and it happened to feature the 49ers literally getting put on skates by his crazy moves. It was a creative commercial, albeit a slap in the face to the 49ers.
It turns out a couple members of the 49ers took notice of the commercial. On Monday evening, Jimmie Ward tweeted out Russell Wilson’s tweet, and included a set of eyeballs.
