49ers' Miller pleads no contest to disturbing the peace

San Francisco 49ers fullback Bruce Miller on Tuesday pleaded no contest to misdemeanor disturbing the peace.

On May 4, Miller pleaded not guilty to a charge of misdemeanor vandalism for allegedly destroying the phone of his then-fiancée. Miller was originally arrested in March on suspicion of spousal abuse following an argument at the Rivermark Hyatt House in Santa Clara on March 5.

Miller has not been participating in the 49ers’ voluntary offseason program due to the ongoing legal matter. The 49ers and Miller decided that he would apart from the team until at least the legal process concluded.
