I don’t want to do all of this training for nothing. I’d like to go out there and see what I can do and build off of it this offseason.
SANTA CLARA – Center Daniel Kilgore declared himself ready to return to action. But he is still waiting for the official go-ahead from the 49ers' decision-makers.
“I’m ready. I’m ready,” Kilgore said. ‘The ball is in their court. I can only control what I can control, and we’ll see what they decide to do.”
Kilgore’s 21-day practice window closes on Monday. The 49ers can activate him to the 53-man roster from the physically-unable-to-perform list at any point.
