The San Francisco 49ers hope to get two new healthy bodies back in action as both G/C Daniel Kilgore and rookie fourth-round pick WR DeAndre Smelter will take part in practice this week. “We’re going to open up Kilgore and Smelter today, or this week. So, they’ll be practicing,” Tomsula said this morning.
As a result, the 49ers activated a 21-day window for Kilgore,who has been placed on the PUP (Physically Unable to Perform) list up to this point for a possible return. The Appalachian State product suffered a broken leg on October 19, 2014 and has been rehabbing since.
