The 2016 NFL Draft is fewer than 75 days away, and the San Francisco 49ers will load up on talent that weekend.
The 49ers have eight draft picks already assigned, plus a possible four more compensatory picks yet to be assigned, according to Over the Cap’s projections. That’s a lot of draft capital to move around and target the players they desire.
Sitting before the start of free agency, it’s difficult to predict exactly what each team will need on draft day. Free agents will be re-signed or change teams, franchise tags will be assigned and some players may opt to retire altogether.
