In regard to Reuben Foster, the investigation is ongoing. John Lynch recently spoke on the matter noting, "We’ve been a little quiet and that’s for a reason," per the 49ers team website. “There are certain places that I can’t and won’t go, because we’re dealing with an ongoing legal matter.”
Lynch did admit he underestimated the 49ers' ability to create a structured environment for Foster. The 2017 first round pick was arrested on February 12th on charges linked to domestic violence, threats and possession of an assault weapon.
