Golden Nuggets: Joe Montana, Jerry Rice, Eddie DeBartolo, Bill Walsh get streets named after them

The San Francisco 49ers moved out of San Francisco in 2014, opening shop in Santa Clara at Levi’s Stadium. The 49ers and the city of San Francisco have worked to maintain a relationship since then, but it has been an odd one at times.

Fortunately, the 49ers history still holds a piece of San Francisco, and will moving forward forever. Although Candlestick Park has been demolished and will be replaced by an urban center that will include housing, shopping, and entertainment. More importantly, it will include streets named after some of the most important members of the 49ers organization.
