Nationals

Jackson has filled in nicely after injuries to Joe Ross and Stephen Strasburg, going 3-2 with a 3.30 ERA in five starts with the Nationals. He’s allowed three earned runs or fewer in four of five outings and is averaging six innings per start.

The veteran right-hander stifled the Dodgers for five innings in his most recent start, and he’s posted a 2.82 ERA since the start of June (after struggling in the season’s first two months). He’s developed into the Padres’ most reliable starter.
