Seattle starter Yovani Gallardo allowed seven runs on nine hits over 4 1/3 frames. He will make one more outing in Saturday's spring finale against the Rockies before serving as the Mariners' No. 5 starter.
Gallardo said he felt strong in his 91-pitch outing and had just one takeaway on the day.
"Don't pitch when the wind is going out," Gallardo said with a smile. "I felt good, it was just one of those days.
