Four El Paso Chihuahuas – Hunter Renfroe, Manuel Margot, Carlos Asuaje and Austin Hedges – were named to the All-Pacific Coast League team on Monday, more than any other team in the circuit.
Renfroe leads the league with 283 total bases, is second in homers (30), RBIs (99) and hits (155) and third in slugging (.559) and runs (91). Meantime, Margot leads the PCL with 12 triples and Asuaje’s 162 hits leads all Triple-A circuits.
All three represented the Padres in the All-Star Futures Game at Petco Park last month and figure to see big league time after El Paso’s playoff run comes to an end.
