We knew about the time Gregg Popovich subjected the Spurs to an obstacle during training camp in 2013 at the U.S. Air Force Academy in Colorado. What we didn’t know were all the details, particularly how he sprung the experience on them via the school’s drill sergeants.

It’s a subject Popovich frequently references, and this anecdote, posted Tuesday by Hoops Hype, provides a perfect illustration of exactly how the future Hall of Famer goes about building relationships within his team.
