Well before she became a guiding voice in the San Antonio Spurs locker room, Becky Hammon was a fierce competitor and methodical passer in her 16 seasons in the WNBA. The native of Rapid City, South Dakota became the face of the New York Liberty after going undrafted in 1999 and began her journey to stardom.
Hammon finished her career with six All-Star appearances, two All-WNBA First Team selections as well at two selections to the Second Team. She led the WNBA in assists with five per game in 2007, her first season with the San Antonio Silver Stars.
