Marjanovic ankle injury will keep him from international play

Boban suffers a setback and won't play for the Serbian National Team in September.

The Spurs' biggest signing of the summer, 7'3" center Boban Marjanovic, has been diagnosed with significant bony edema in his left ankle which was discovered after a team physical that included an MRI. In order to prevent long term injury and give him time to heal by training camp, Spurs doctors have decided to hold Marjanovic out of the EuroBasket 2015 tournament that will be held from September 5-20.
