The last time Spurs fans heard from Gregg Popovich was over five weeks ago, after Game 2 of the first round of the playoffs vs. the Golden State Warriors. It was the next day that we learned his wife, Erin Popovich, had tragically passed away. Since then Pop has understandably needed his space and privacy to mourn.
Yesterday we got our first update on how he is doing thanks to an Instagram post from Dejounte Murray:
“Glad to see Coach Pop is doing better, such a strong man who cares more about others more man himself.
