SAN ANTONIO (May 20, 2015) - The NBA today announced that the 2014-15 Defensive Player of the Year, Kawhi Leonard, was named to the NBA's All-Defensive First Team. Additionally, Tim Duncan earned All-Defensive Second Team honors, marking the 15th time in his career he has been selected to an All-Defensive Team, the most in NBA history.
With their selections it marks the 12th time in franchise history the Spurs have had multiple players named to an All-Defensive Team in the same season.
It's the second consecutive selection for Leonard, who was named to the NBA's All-Defensive Second Team last season.
