BERKELEY, Calif. — Saint Mary’s women’s tennis captured four more victories in Cal Winter Invite, as the team secured three straight-set victories singles action, and one lopsided win in the doubles portion of the second day at the invitational.
First year player Danielle McIntyre rolled through her competition in her singles match. The native of Australia cruised past Cal Poly’s Louise Oxnevad in straight-sets. After a close 7-5 finish in the first, McIntyre played near flawless tennis, claiming the win with a 6-2 finish.
Senior Parminder Kaur also won in straight-sets today, as she defeated Bacharach of the Mustangs, 6-4, 6-4.
