STANFORD, Calif.— On the third day of the ITA Northwest Regional Championships, the Saint Mary’s women’s tennis team saw several players compete in the quarterfinals of both the singles and doubles draws.
In the morning’s doubles action, Kareena Manji and Danielle McIntyre advanced to the quarterfinals after a dominant win from the first serve of the match. The Gaels duo cruised to an 8-0 win over Ates and Matejevic of Washington State. Manji and McIntyre would later fall in the quarterfinals to the tough tandem of Hauger and Popovic from Cal, 8-3.
