OTTAWA, ON, Canada — Sophomore Sarah Chase has been named to Canada's 2017 Women's National Team roster after a strong indoor and beach season for Saint Mary's, Volleyball Canada announced today.
The outside hitter is one of 24 players that will represent Canada on the national team's roster. The women's selection camp wrapped up on May 12, with Canada's national team head coach Marcello Abbondanza assigning 24 players to the National Team roster.
Chase got off to a stellar start in this past year's indoor season as she recorded 126 kills, 93 digs and 34 blocks in just 12 games and 43 sets before being sidelined due to injury.
