SAN BRUNO, Calif. — Saint Mary's men's tennis had two players honored on the West Coast Conference All-Academic teams as Manuel De Luis Lamelas and Brian Lee were named Honorable Mention, it was announced today.
De Luis Lamelas finishes his career at Saint Mary's after a solid senior campaign. Lamelas won six singles matches during the dual season and went 2-3 in WCC matches. He primarily played as the No. 4 player for the Gaels, but also went 2-0 in his contests on court 2.
The native of Marbella, Spain, Lamelas also advanced to the Round of 32 at the ITA Regionals in October 2016.
