SAN BRUNO, Calif. — Saint Mary’s freshman striker Joseph Restani has been named West Coast Conference Player of the Week after he scored his third goal of the season in a 1-0 conference win over San Francisco at Saint Mary’s Stadium.
Restani now leads the Gaels with his three goals, which have all been game winning scores.
Restani scored in the 20th minute of an action packed match versus USF (6-7, 2-2 WCC) to lead the Gaels (6-7-3, 2-2 WCC) in an important conference fixture.
Restani opened up near the top left corner of the box and collected a pass.
