SAN MATEO, Calif. — The late-season rise of Tommy Kuhse has been special to watch, and he was rewarded for his efforts on Monday morning. Announced by the West Coas Conference, the graduate student guard for SMC has been named the WCC's Player of the Week, making him the fifth Gael of the season to take home the award.
Kuhse led the Gaels to a perfect 2-0 week at home as they took down RV San Francisco and BYU. Kuhse played all 40 minutes in both games and was the leading scorer in both games, posting 22 and 25 points.
