MORAGA, Calif. — Former Saint Mary’s lacrosse student-athlete Rachel Minarovich has been selected to the Israel Women's National Team in lacrosse and will be competing in the 2017 Federation of International Lacrosse (FIL) Women's World Cup near London next July.
Minarovich graduated from Saint Mary’s in 2014 and played for the team from 2012-14 after transferring from Fresno State. She currently holds the program record for draw controls per game, 5.79, as well as the total career draw controls with 201.
Minarovich was named to the MPSF All-Conference Second Team in 2012 and 2013 and received an honorable mention in 2014.
