COLUMBIA, Missouri — It was a dream start for Saint Mary's Golf, who saw themselves atop the leaderboards in the early goings of the Tiger Intercollegiate at the Club at Old Hawthorne. While the red hot early pace was not held throughout the first 36 holes, Saint Mary's did settle into the top of standings, sitting tied for seventh place in the 18 team field with a score of even par (568).
After a tumultuous couple of days in Maricopa, Arizona last week, Kristian Bressum returned to form in round one of this tournament, leading the Gaels with a (-2) 69.
