MORAGA, Calif. — Saint Mary's men's basketball guard Jordan Ford has been named the Muscle Milk Student-Athlete of the Week for the period of Feb. 18-24 after helping the Gaels' pick up two big wins on the road.
Ford helped Saint Mary's take down Pacific and San Diego away from McKeon Pavilion with excellent play on both ends of the court. The junior averaged 24.5 points while shooting 56 percent from the field, including 6-of-9 from distance. Ford also averaged 6.5 rebounds, 1.0 assists, and 1.0 steals in the wins.
In both contests, SMC's defense held their opposition to under 30 percent shooting and Ford provided strong defense while playing 75 of the possible 80 points.
