LYNCHBURG, VA. (NCBWA) — Saint Mary's baseball's Kevin Milam collected another accolade to his decorated rookie year after being named on the 2017 National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA) All-Freshman Team, the organization announced Monday.
A total of 31 freshmen from 29 different schools were honored as part of the All-Freshman Team. The Freshman All-American team is voted upon by the membership of the NCBWA. The 2017 NCBWA National Freshman Player of the Year and National Freshman Pitcher of the Year will be announced on Tuesday, June 13.
Milam was recently named National Frosh of the Year by Collegiate Baseball Newspaper and was honored as an All-American Third-Team member by the CBN.
