SAN BRUNO, Calif. — Saint Mary’s baseball’s Edward Haus earned his second West Coast Conference Player of the Week award Monday for the week of April 17-23 after hitting .500 and slugging .786 in a perfect 4-0 week for the Gaels.
Haus hit .500, slugged .786 and had an on-base percentage of .611 in helping carry Saint Mary's to an undefeated week. He scored seven runs and drove in five with a home run, double and four walks. He had two multi-hit games and two multi-RBI games during the week.
It was his solo home run in the series opener versus Pacific that tied the game and helped SMC keep pace with the Tigers' powerful lineup before winning 15-9.
