The James Anderson era in Sacramento has come to an end. The 27-year old shooting guard has decided to opt out of the final year of his contract with the Sacramento Kings; making him a free agent.
This news really came out of nowhere as many, including me, were expecting Anderson to opt in. However, he has decided not to return to the Kings next season.
It was first reported by Eric Pincus of Basketball Insiders and the Los Angeles Times that Anderson will opt out of his contract, along with Seth Curry.
