The Kings were unable to find an answer for New Orleans' Anthony Davis, Eric Gordon and Norris Cole, who combined for 38 of their team’s 59 first half points while pushing the lead to 15 at the break. Meanwhile, the home team shot just 1-of-8 from long range and allowed New Orleans to hit on 8-of-16 of their three-point attempts in the first 24 minutes.
A 16-9 run to begin the second half brought Sacramento to within eight halfway through the third frame, but the Pelicans answered with their own 15-0 run that put the game out of reach.
