On Tuesday morning, Chris Ash spent a couple minutes trading barbs with Craig Carton and Gov. Chris Christie -- who serving as Boomer and Carton guest host -- on New York's nationally syndicated WFAN radio morning-show program.
Later that day, the Rutgers football coach was in the Yankees TV booth, talking with broadcasters Michael Kay and Al Leiter during the third inning of the Yankees' 8-3 loss to the Angels.
In both interviews, Ash focused on his team's Nov. 4 "home'' clash with Maryland at Yankee Stadium, a Big Ten affair that will be preceded by a wrestling match between the two schools.
