Shaun O’Hara turns to Twitter to criticize Rutgers leadership, support coach Kyle Flood

PISCATAWAY – Rutgers athletics Hall of Famer Shaun O’Hara took his support for football coach Kyle Flood to the next level Sunday morning, firing a shot on Twitter at the school’s leadership.

O’Hara, a three-time NFL Pro Bowler and a television analyst, wrote, “Since his spineless President & his silent AD wont, I would like to publicly state my support for @KyleFloodRU & his INTEGRITY @RUAthletics.”

Through his charitable foundation, O’Hara, a former walk-on from Hillsborough High School, endows a $100,000 scholarship for a Rutgers football walk-on who earns a scholarship — just as he did in the late 1990s.
